Our key enhancements included introducing intuitive navigation controls, ensuring a responsive layout for optimal device compatibility, and improving the visibility of product purchase details. These upgrades were strategically implemented to provide an accessible, user-friendly, and seamless online shopping experience. The aim was to align our platform with the current demands and expectations of the digital marketplace, offering consumers a convenient and personalized shopping journey.

Enhanced User Experience and Accessibility: Design Revamp Results

Following our recent design enhancements, we've achieved significant results. Product visibility on the website has improved, leading to a more user-friendly browsing experience. Coupled with an enhanced user interface, this change has resulted in an increase in direct user purchases. Furthermore, we've successfully resolved a number of previously identified UI accessibility issues and implemented an updated design system across the pages, significantly enhancing overall user experience and visual consistency. These improvements have streamlined user interactions and fostered a more efficient and engaging online environment, highlighting our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Our e-commerce platform has experienced numerous redesign phases, aimed at updating features, ensuring local compliance, aligning with our design system, enhancing visibility, and improving accessibility. These initiatives have covered the full spectrum of the purchasing process and user account management.

As a UI Designer, I played a pivotal role in the design phase and contributed to testing and quality assurance during the development phase of this project, utilizing a variety of design methodologies throughout.

Design Improvement

Enhancing Usability and Aesthetics in Interface

The initial design faced challenges with non-descriptive titles, poorly placed action buttons, and confusion over which buttons were optional, leading to a lack of intuitive usability. Our objective is to enhance the clarity of information presentation, improve the visibility and accessibility of purchase-related features, establish a stronger visual hierarchy, and revitalize the overall aesthetic appeal.

Integrating Our Web Design System into the E-Commerce Revamp

Our e-commerce revamp project saw the strategic application of our web design system, focusing on typography, color, grid, and spacing enhancements to elevate user experience and accessibility. These updates aim to enhance both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience.

Color : We updated the color scheme to a vibrant blue, aligning with our brand and improving contrast and accessibility.

Typography : We introduced "TT Norms Pro," a geometric and modern font, for titles, interactive elements, and critical information like prices and product names, refreshing our site's overall look.

Grid and Spacing : We adopted larger rounded corners for approachability, a 4px minimum spacing for clear product hierarchy, and consistent spacing for better information presentation.

We elevate our layouts and essential functionalities with meticulous redesign initiatives, prioritizing responsive and mobile-first approaches to ensure seamless usability across devices. This comprehensive overhaul targets key pages such as the Buy page, Cart page, and Checkout page, aiming to streamline the purchasing process and enhance the overall user experience.

Content Hierarchy & Navigation Enhancements: Modules, including Product Menu Bar and Spec list, have been streamlined for better clarity and engagement.

Product Options Upgrade : Now with clearer status indicators and interactive features for intuitive product information access.

Fixed Bar Improvement : Enhanced bottom navigation for improved display and accessibility.

Promotional Dialog : Optimized to better highlight marketing events and offers, promoting immediate user engagement and action.

These refinements have led to a more intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experience, encouraging active participation and facilitating easier access to product specifications and promotions.
