I started in electrical engineering, where I learned that every system is a set of decisions someone else has to live with. I cared more about the someone else than the system. That pulled me toward design, first through an applied art MA, then a Master of Integrated Innovation at Carnegie Mellon.

Today I design AI, fintech, and enterprise products, and I build in code, including this site, so ideas get tested where they’ll actually live. That work now includes AI in the loop. It drafts fast, so my job is deciding which draft is right, and which one only sounds right.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time in museums and trying new tools. In both, I’m looking for the same thing: the moment something makes sense.

How I Work

I think like an engineer.

I trained in electrical engineering, so I know where designs break.

It's rarely in the mockup.

I design the decision, not the dashboard.

Dashboards show everything. I focus on the moment someone has to decide.

Most of my work lives in that gap.

I test ideas by building them.
